Meet Brian Toung

Brian Toung graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 1983. Since then, he has crafted his legal skills as a dedicated attorney with a focus on civil trial, plaintiff personal injury, DUI, criminal defense, and aviation litigation. He is recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Civil Trial, and was recently named as one the Top 100 criminal defense lawyers in the country by the National Trial Lawyers.

Brian also helps aspiring lawyers develop their skills as a professor of aviation legislation and business law at ERAU-WW online, where he has taught since 2009, and offers free legal advice to students as an ERAU “Legal Eagle”. He also teaches at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Daytona Beach and Worldwide campuses as an adjunct professor.

Brian’s passion for aviation extends far beyond the legal sphere, as he is a licensed pilot who just recently sold his own private aircraft. He has several flying licenses, and spends his weekends skydiving in Deland. When he is not airborne, Brian considers himself “an amateur gourmet chef, professional BBQ judge, lousy but enthusiastic golfer, world traveler, wine snob, and a fan of Florida State University and Auburn football". He has been married to his wife Erin for 24 years, and together they have three children and three Australian Shepherds.
